did you know that if we were to increase the soil carbon content of the world's farmable land by just 1%, we would be able to remove more than our current annual greenhouse gas emissions? seriously. just like the ocean, soil is a massive carbon sink. soil removes carbon from the atmosphere which plants use for their own nourishment. the more carbon contained in the soil, the healthier the soil; the healthier the soil, the healthier the plant.

but how do we increase the soil's carbon content? the answer is simple: organic farming. where conventional farming practices actually result in the loss of topsoil, stripping the ground of its nutrients, regenerative organic farming practices rebuilds topsoil and restores nutrients. that's why we're committing 1% of sales to helping conventional farmers manage the 3 year "in-conversion" transition over to certified organic.
